This sand used in roadworks and landscaping is provided in the ever-efficient Bulka Bags AKA Westbags.
A crushed quartz produced as a coarse concrete sand with virtually no clay and minimal fines/dust. This sand is primarily used in horse arenas and stables as well as in the bottom of garden beds for its beneficial drainage properties. Gingin Quartz has also been used in speciality road asphalt applications for its reflective attributes and it has even been used in the manufacture of kerbing where a rough texture is desired.
